Terms and Conditions (T&C) of Mallorca Culinary Tours

1. Scope and Subject of the Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all services offered by Mallorca Culinary Tours, including but not limited to:
- Wine tours and culinary experiences
- Cooking classes and events (including activities at the Culinary Lab in Cala d'Or)
- Private tastings and sommelier services
- Private chef and event services
By booking any of our services, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment Terms
2.1 Booking
- Bookings can be made via our website, by email, or by phone
- A booking becomes binding only once the required deposit has been received and confirmed by Mallorca Culinary Tours
2.2 Payment Terms
- 50% deposit upon booking (via credit card or bank transfer)
- Remaining balance due no later than 7 days before the scheduled date (via bank transfer)
- Last-minute bookings (less than 7 days before the event): 50% deposit and remaining balance payable in cash on site
- All prices include applicable taxes and fees
- Mallorca Culinary Tours does not cover any additional bank charges for transfers
3. Changes to Bookings
- Any changes to a booking must be submitted in writing via email to info@mallorcaculinarytours.com
- Any additional costs resulting from changes are to be borne by the customer
- If a confirmed service is significantly altered by the customer, no refund will be granted
4. Vouchers
- Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue
- Vouchers can be redeemed for all services offered by Mallorca Culinary Tours
- Personalized vouchers are non-transferable
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Cancellations for Multi-Day Tours
- Up to 30 days before the start: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before the start: no refund
5.2 Cancellations for Day Tours, Half-Day Tours and Cooking Classes
- Up to 72 hours before the start: 50% refund
- Less than 72 hours before the start: no refund
- Failure to attend (“no-show”) will be treated as a cancellation without refund
The relevant time is the receipt of the cancellation email.
6. Liability
- Mallorca Culinary Tours is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct
- No liability is accepted for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Participation in all activities is at the participant’s own risk
- Mallorca Culinary Tours strongly recommends obtaining appropriate travel insurance
- Mallorca Culinary Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify events due to insufficient participants, safety reasons, or force majeure (e.g. weather conditions, strikes, illness)
In such cases, any payments already made will be fully refunded
7. Delays
- In the event of late arrival by the customer, there is no entitlement to an extension of the service or a refund
8. Final Provisions
- Program changes may occur provided the overall nature of the event remains unchanged
- Spanish law shall apply
- Place of jurisdiction, where legally permitted, is Mallorca
